Technical Project Manager (Houston)
Our corporate maritime client is looking for 1-2 Project Managers to join their team starting in January. The two roles are broken out separately, but if one person meets the qualifications of both then they may hire just one PM. These roles are 40-hours a week with 3 days onsite and 2 remote - this is nonnegotiable.
The Project Manager(s) will be a part of an emerging Global IT Team and be partnered with technical SMEs. The company needs candidates who are strong in process adherence and who know how to influence process in organizations where resources are overworked and overloaded.
The Project Manager(s) will be brought on in January when all projects will be net new so that they are involved in the initial scoping. Projects are projected to kickoff in March.
**BOTH ROLES REQUIRE A PMP CERTIFICATION. WE CANNOT SUBMIT ANYONE WHO DOESN'T HAVE THIS**
Requirements of Role #1: Project Manager for Next Generation Resource Management (NGRM) - 12 months
- Have played an active role as technical project manager for global projects
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Java and / or .Net technologies.
- Worked on CCMS systems with experience in migration (CCMS is Component Content Management Systems)
- Experience with AEM Guides and SDL would be huge plus
- Experience with any other CCMS systems would be greatly appreciated
- Hands on with Java and .Net technology frameworks
- Experience with PMP methodologies as well as agile development
- Experience with implementing CCMS systems
- Experience with diverse technology stacks: Java, .Net, cloud etc.
Requirements for Role #2: Project Manager (Documentation) - 6 months
- Experience with requirements gathering and documentation
- Have worked with small size team (3-7) with multiple interfaces
- Have played combined role of BA as well as Scrum Master/PM for small projects
- Have experience with creating and maintaining project documentation
- Exposure to low-code SaaS products like HSI or EtQ is a huge plus
- Experience in Health and Safety incident management systems would be a huge plus
- Have delivered small projects using agile development methodologies
