





About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Finance Manager within Auto Finance. This role is seeking an experienced manager to serve in a pivotal leadership role on the team, strategically partnering with various leaders and stakeholders to deliver financial results, demonstrate business progress, and provide information to make business decisions. The candidate for this role should be able to drive direction across the team and solve complex problems by taking end-to-end responsibility and initiative.
In this role, you will:
- Provide strategic leadership and support for Auto business OC+2 leaders
- Develop and enhance business financial views, analytics and metrics to support business strategies and decision making to drive improved financial outcomes and identification of improvement opportunities
- Prepare and present executive-level presentations to advise leadership on views and issues with high impact related to the success of the Auto business
- Provide financial advice and guidance for the Auto strategic plan, including the annual technology initiative planning process
- Provide expense support for forecasting projections, analysis, and recovery and resolution planning
- Proactively work with partnering teams outside of Auto Finance such as Operations, HR, and Compensation to determine best practices, and ensure integration
- Lead efforts to focus on automating/streamlining processes – introducing new ideas and challenging the status quo where appropriate
- Work within the Auto Finance team, integrating with FP&A, revenue, and product
- Directly manage and develop a team of finance professionals to achieve objectives
Required Qualifications:
- 4+ years of Finance experience or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Leadership experience
Desired Qualifications:
- Excellent ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats to senior leaders
- Previous experience managing a team of direct reports, being responsible for staffing, team development, and other management related activities.
- Detail oriented; ability to translate strategy into actionable steps across teams
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to influence and lead change
- Ability to translate and present complex data in a manner that educates, enhances understanding, and influences decisions
- Demonstrated experience fostering strong partnerships, promoting teamwork, and influencing others
- P&L financial management and forecasting experience
- Personal accountability for achievement of results
- BS in Finance, Accounting or another quantitative field
