Sally Beauty Assistant Manager

We are looking for a confident and reliable Assistant Store Manager to support our Store Manager with the daily business operations. The Assistant Store Manager's responsibilities include assisting customers, training our associates, managing inventory, and ensuring a safe, clean store environment. You should also be able to promptly address and resolve customer and staff issues.
To be successful as an Assistant Store Manager you should have strong leadership and decision-making skills. An outstanding candidate will also demonstrate excellent interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Primary Duties
- Demonstrate and coach our teams to maximize sales and customer loyalty program in assigned stores.
- Provide supervision and support the direction planning of associates daily goals and activities to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
- Foster an environment of diversity, inclusion and belonging.
- Acts as point of contact to resolve customer issues and concerns in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Work with your Store Manager to analyzes store trends and anticipate customer demands.
- Assist with engaging, training, and developing the team to achieve positive results, while maintaining a positive environment and decreasing issues.
- Ensure execution of all company processes in a timely manner and follow through with Company directives, and assignments.
- Keep the store environment clean, organized, and safe for associates and customers.
- Responsible for protecting company assets by ensuring all inventory and cash control procedures are being followed in store.
Knowledge, Skills/Abilities and Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Minimum 3+ years retail sales/customer service experience preferred.
- At least 1+ year(s) prior management experience preferred.
- Ability to lead or support a team of associates to meet business objectives.
- Can effectively communicate with team and management.
- Must have scheduling availability to meet the needs of the business.
- Cosmetology license desirable, but not required.

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
The position requires some physical exertion such as long periods of standing; walking; recurring bending, crouching, stooping, stretching, reaching, or similar activities; recurring lifting of moderately heavy items such as shipment or record boxes. Must be able to lift-up to 25 lbs., occasionally while on a ladder, with or without accommodation. May be exposed to fumes, chemicals, and odors upon occasion.
