Translator

Position Overview
Our Client is seeking a skilled Translator to facilitate communication between different languages, with a focus on English to Haitian Creole. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating various types of content, ensuring accuracy and cultural relevance. This role is essential in helping our client's organization reach a diverse audience and maintain effective communication across language barriers.

• Roughly 20 hours of work
• Freelance
• Fully remote 
• Starts ASAP and project is due by the end of the month

Key Responsibilities

• Translate written documents from English to Haitian Creole and vice versa.
• Ensure accuracy and clarity in translations, maintaining the original tone and context.
• Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deadlines.
• Utilize InDesign for formatting translated documents as needed.
• Proofread and edit translations to ensure high-quality output.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and Haitian Creole, both written and spoken.
• Proven experience in translation, preferably in a professional setting.
• Familiarity with InDesign or similar design software.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills and cultural awareness.
