Work days/Shift Hours – if applicable: 11:00 AM - Finish / 5 days a week
Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $18.50 to $23.25 per hour, based on experience. Additional earning opportunities may include performance-based incentives, quarterly bonuses, referral bonuses, and comprehensive benefits.
General Purpose
This position includes moving trailers across lots during loading and related functions.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct a daily check of trailers for raw materials and full goods, and assess empty trailers and others that need to be relocated or loaded
- Properly store trailers that are not being used
- Maintain a complete and accurate list of trailers brought in and moved to the docks, and ensure all trailers brought to the docks are in proper order and have their wheels chocked
- Report problems or damages that occur
Qualifications
- Arrives to workstation or designated area/location on time and ready to work; works all scheduled shifts and attends required trainings and meetings
- Follow all regulatory and company policies and procedures
- Ability to follow directions, effective time management and organization skills
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 0 to 3 years of general work experience required
- 1 plus years of prior warehouse/stocking/fork-lift experience preferred
- Previous experience within a high-speed industrial environment
- Experience using (or ability to use) tools and equipment including box cutters, electric or manual pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery
- Valid Class A Driver's License
- Driving Record within Motor Vehicle Report Policy
- Forklift Certification
