Job Overview
The POS Supervisor is responsible for leading the POS Specialist teams to ensure daily, weekly and quarterly routines are being followed, inventory controls are in place, train new hires, troubleshoot back office administrative task, create business reports (delivered, undelivered & disposals) to analyze business results. This position oversees teammates in multiple locations, this is a driving role.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the assigned team of POS Specialist with company planned initiatives and goals to ensure task, priorities and deadlines are met
- Recruit, hire and train new talent using the POS Training Guide
- Attend Sales, Distribution, Warehouse, Procurement and Leader’s Collaboration meetings
- Travel to onsite locations to conduct “RED RIDES” with direct reports
- Audit the BMR site to ensure inventories are entered into the system in a timely manner
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
- Prior Beverage Point of Sales knowledge and experience preferred.
- Experience leading a team.
- Inventory systems and control experience.
- Organization skills required.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively with our cross-functional departments to meet the demands of our customers.
- This position oversees teammates in multiple locations, this is a driving role.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Valid Class “C” Driver’s License and ability to obtain a DOT Medical Certification and Forklift Operator Certification
