Role & Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
The Stewarding Manager is an integral part of the Food & Beverage team. This person supervises day-to-day operation of the hotel's stewarding department and ensures all health regulations are maintained. As a Stewarding Manager you will be responsible for total maintenance and sanitation in all food production service areas. This department is also responsible for preparing items for banquets/events and delivering those items to the appropriate location throughout the hotel. This is a physical position that will involve lifting, pushing, and pulling a moderate amount of weight, and requires open schedule availability. Additional duties may include administrative tasks, scheduling, payroll, and training of staff. Hyatt associates work in an environment that demands exceptional performance yet reaps great rewards. - A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
- 3-5 years of hotel management or supervisory experience is preferred
- Organized and has experience in health regulations compliance
- Refined communication and technical skills
- Strong leadership skills is highly recommended
- Ability to lift, pull and push a moderate weight (about 50 pounds)
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend and holidays
