Overview
We are seeking a visionary system architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable and secure software systems within our services organization. In this role, the individual will play a crucial role in shaping our technology strategy, ensuring that our systems align with both current and future business needs. Responsibilities
Responsible for collaborating with the leadership team to define and document service process best practices, translating user experiences into clear system requirements. Collaboration will be with many cross functional groups, including but not limited to service leaders, finance partners, IT partners, Quality partners, etc.
Guides the design, configuration, implementation, training and maintenance of service business system tools and functionality on a global scale. Steers the integration of localized tools and best practices into our standard global business systems. Provide technical guidance and support to IT and development teams related to the service business needs, and development of service business system tools.
Responsible for a service master data strategy, ensuring the business practices are generating the data needed to support the informational and business system infrastructure.
Responsible for defining reporting on service metrics and KPIs, including dashboards and Bowlers to support the regional and functional service leaders, along with documentation and user training.
Staying current with evolving IT systems and tools, researching, evaluating and recommending new and emerging technologies that can add value across the service business.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proficiency in designing / integrating APIs for data exchange between systems (SAP, Salesforce)
- Experience in creating and managing dashboards with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau
- 4+ years of experience in software architecture or system design roles
- 4+ years of experience in field service businesses
- Proven experience with architectural design concepts
- Experience with project management and leading technical teams
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
Familiarity preferred with Python, Power Automate, SQL and HTML programming
