Summary: We are seeking a talented Senior Retirement Plan Advisor to independently manage the strategic planning, consulting, guidance, marketing, investment analysis and servicing of assigned book of retirement business. Ideally, you will hold or have previously earned a FINRA Series 6, 63, or 65 license and are open-minded to regional travel.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The below statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to do this job. - Establish, maintain, and nurture client relationships (front line and decision makers).
- Act as a resource on any compliance issues, perform compliance reviews and communicate compliance issues to client.
- Proactively schedule and attend regular meetings with clients to ensure clients’ needs are continually being met.
- Independently consult and advise with clients on complex retirement plan issues.
- Address, resolve, follow-up and communicate resolutions to clients; update Salesforce to track issues and resolution.
- Responsible for coordinating data collection and presentation preparation for client meetings.
- Conduct investment analysis on plan investment options.
- Coordinate and conduct employee education meetings.
- Manage all internal reporting/tracking components required of the retirement department including CRM database account set up and upkeep, revenue report preparation, electronic and hard copy file maintenance, etc.
- Exercise positive interaction and cooperation with internal staff and senior management.
- Participate in team assignments and special projects as needed
- Operate in accordance with established NFP internal protocol and procedures.
- Understand and represent the services provided by NFP, provide expert advice, develop solutions for current and future project plans, execute strategies to consistently illustrate value and retain existing clients
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities:
- Provide progress reports as needed
- Manage all internal reporting/tracking components required of the retirement department including sales force database account set up and upkeep, electronic and hard copy file maintenance, etc.
- Attend and participate in Internal meetings as needed.
- Exercise positive interaction and cooperation with internal staff and senior management.
- Participate in team assignments and special projects as needed.
- Exhibit a willingness to take on new projects and responsibilities.
- Share knowledge and experience with staff.
- Operate in accordance with established NFP internal protocol and procedures.
- Understand and represent the services provided by NFP, provide expert advice, develop solutions for current and future project plans, execute strategies to consistently illustrate value and retain existing clients.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelors degree preferred
- More than 10 years industry and product line experience
