Job Description
The Specialist – Service Parts is responsible for maintaining inventory and constant flow of parts for all service locations, equipment refurbishment center, and service technicians in the divisions.
What your day will look like:
- Assists locations with following the process for any general supply orders
- Runs/Analyzes Material Resource Planning (MRP) for purchasing daily inventory for all storage locations in Division
- Analyzes usage to help supervisors in making purchasing decisions for service parts
- Maintains Material Resource Planning (MRP) values per manager/supervisor request
- Analyzes parts usage for support on budgeting
- Analyzes inventory stock levels of materials for parts room and all tech storage locations
- Assists with inventory count process
- Works with Master Data on material master updates
- Runs all necessary reports from Coca-Cola One North America (CONA) for parts
- Supports Service Department supervisors when needed
- Creates PO’s for repairs related to payment systems
- Analyzes Open purchase orders and provide reporting to locations to keep all purchase orders received in a timely manner
- Sets up return document for materials be returned to vendor
- Creates all Excel spreadsheets for service parts from SAP
- Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management
What you need to succeed:
- Minimum age 18 years old
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
- Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
- Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
- Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
- Ability to demonstrate independence, analytical skills, and strategic thinking
- Effective communication skills
- Associate degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or 1 months to 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of vending and fountain equipment
- Effective business acumen, objective judgement, and organizational skills
- Ability to analyze and problem-solve
- Frequent standing, walking, and lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs
