Senior Financial Analyst, FP&A
Summary of Position
The position of Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for supporting global consolidation, reporting, and analysis. Reporting to the Director of FP&A, this position is part of a dynamic team that works in a fast-paced environment, where keen attention to detail and an ability to develop partnerships throughout the business is crucial to success.
Essential Functions
- Support consolidation of global forecast, identifying key trends, variances, risks, and opportunities
- Support monthly close analysis, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
- Manage Global Margin Forecast analysis and identify key commercial insights
- Drive internal process improvements, with a focus on standardization and automation
- Assist in creation of executive presentations
- Create sophisticated financial models to aid in scenario analysis and investment decisions
- Develop strong partnerships across Global Finance organization
- Proactively drive ad-hoc analyses and special projects
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required
- Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant work experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
- Previous experience with budgeting and analysis, preferably in consumer products
- Proven analytical skills, with keen attention to detail
- Objective oriented with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement
- Exceptional communication and social skills, proven ability to partner cross-functionally
- Demonstrated ability to lead multiple projects in a dynamic environment
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills required, especially the need to have exceptional modeling skills in Excel
- Previous experience with financial planning systems such as Adaptive
