TNC in Sakonnet:

The Nature Conservancy (TNC) has been working in the communities to the east of the Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island since 1967, and officially launched its Sakonnet Program in 2004. The Nature Conservancy's strength lies in its strong partnerships, staff, and trustees with extensive knowledge of local ecology, global reach, and our use of proven, science-based strategies.

Together with committed partners, donors, and volunteers, TNC's community-based conservation program has made significant progress in the last three decades such that a connected and resilient network for wildlife and people ten miles long is now emerging from the Tiverton highlands to the coastline at Goosewing Beach and Sakonnet Point.

Our goal is to cultivate an inclusive work environment so that our colleagues around the globe all feel a sense of belonging, and that their unique contributions to our mission are valued. We know we'll only achieve our Mission by hiring and engaging a diverse workforce that reflects the communities in which we work. In addition to the requirements in our postings, we recognize that people come with talent and experiences outside of a job. Diversity of experience and skills combined with passion is a key to innovation and a culture of inclusion! Please apply - we'd love to hear from you. To quote myriad TNC staff members, "you'll join for our mission, and you'll stay for our people."
