Full Job Description
  • Compensation: $22.12 an hour. At two years of employment, employee will receive $27.65 an hour.
  • Schedule: *This position requires flexibility with scheduling*
    • Must be able to work days, nights, weekends. This position covers vacancies on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift.
    • When not covering a vacant shift, default schedule will be Monday - Friday, 6pm - 2:30am.
    • Overtime is available on a as needed basis

Job Description

The Quality Assurance (QA) Technician is responsible for conducting qualitative and quantitative tests of raw materials and finished goods.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative testing of raw materials and finished goods throughout all stages of the production process
  • Analyze syrup, water, and / or beverage attributes
  • Audit container rinsers, air blowers, filters and coders to insure proper operations
  • Conduct quality inspections and audits of packaging and isolate product that does not meet standards
  • Test CO2 and raw materials prior to production process
  • Maintain highest standards of cleanliness to prevent microbial contamination

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in science related field preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in production / manufacturing or 2+ years of relevant lab technician experience
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Familiarity with lab safety and handling of hazardous materials
