Job Summary
As the QA Supervisor on 2nd Shift, you will help manage quality control activities for all phases of production, personnel and laboratory operations. You will schedule and assign workloads and maintain close partnership with production to resolve problems affecting quality. You will direct product quality surveillance of manufacturing areas with possible HACCP monitoring, conduct periodic facility inspections and may perform daily bacteriological environmental inspections in critical plant areas. You will oversee special inspections for incoming materials and end-of-run products. You will coordinate with production in the monitoring of packaging lines for control of weights, metal detection, codes and product/package integrity. You will have 3 years related experience - preferably in a food manufacturing facility.
You will also provide management, technical assistance and scheduling of quality assurance technicians and associates. You will be involved in all aspects of quality and safety including audits, HACCP program evaluation, GMP training, sanitation evaluation, pest control, purchasing supplies, working with operations personnel on quality and safety issues, inspecting returned and incoming products, customer complaints, implementing procedures and evaluating new equipment installation or repair.
Position Responsibilities
- You will coordinate quality assurance activities (e.g., audits, training, purchasing) and provide technical assistance to QA team members.
- You will monitor and verify the HACCP plan's CCPs following procedure; conduct GMP and sanitation audits.
- You will team with operations on quality and food safety issues ensuring control systems are functional and followed.
- You will place product on hold, release or disposition while following policy and procedures; evaluate damaged products; coordinate resolution of customer complaints and complete analytical review of product.
You have:
- A BS Degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Food Science or other related degree required. Education may be substituted for years of experience.
- 3 years related experience required preferably in the food industry.
- A complete understanding of Food Safety Guidelines/Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safe procedures.
- A complete understanding of HACCP Plans.
- An understanding of government regulations (FDA, USDA).

Compensation:
Pay Range:$62,000-$91,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee's actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees' equity.Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
