The Director of HR Technology Portfolio Management reports to the Director of HR Technology and serves as the primary liaison between HR Centers of Expertise/Sector HR teams and the Information Technology (IT) team, driving the development, implementation, and on-going management of HR technology business solutions. The Director, HR Technology Portfolio Management leads a team of highly skilled HR Portfolio Managers and fosters a culture of exceptional consulting, continuous improvement, project management, and customer servicing skills.
The Director HR Technology Portfolio Management also:
- Partners with the Director of HR Technology to co-create and drive the HR portfolio strategy
- Establishes, measures and monitors goals and performance for the HR Technology Portfolio Management team
- Manages vendor relationships in collaboration with ESS-IT for hardware, technology support, and services
- Acts in a deputy capacity to the Director of HR Technology when required
- Primary Responsibilities: Business Analysis
- Manages and develops a team of portfolio management specialists, responsible for aligning business and HR COE requirements, and utilizing on-premise and cloud-based technologies and managed systems to deliver high-quality customer experiences.
- Leads the optimization of HR systems, identifying and addressing Human Resources information needs, and recommending enhancements, improvements, and new applications to meet evolving requirements.
- Contributes to the development of the HRIS Portfolio Roadmap, driving alignment with business objectives through collaborative stakeholder engagement and informed decision-making.
- Fosters a culture of innovation by introducing and integrating external perspectives and best practices, and ensuring a forward-thinking approach that drives business results.
- Partners with the Business, ESS-IT and major functions to integrate new acquisitions, perform divestitures or implement organization changes onto the portfolio platform.
- Serves on the HR Technology Council to present a strategic framework for the effective management and utilization of HR technology within BAE Systems
Work location for this position is flexible. Remote/hybrid work or on-site at a BAE Systems office will all be considered.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Bachelor's degree and at least 10 years of experience leading an HRIS portfolio management team or a business- focused IT team.
Strong general business instincts, with especially deep insights on people and culture.
Intellectually curious, stays abreast of technology capabilities, and brings strong, structured problem-solving skills to ambiguous situations.
Comfortable working in a high autonomy environment.

Strong interpersonal skills necessary for consulting with executive level leaders, building relationships, establishing trust, and collaborating effectively with individuals and teams at all levels of the organization.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $151300 - $257200

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
