Summary

This position is located at Departmental Offices, Domestic Finance - Office of Financial Research.

This is a remote position. - only locations in DC/MD/VA area as defined by OFR geographic pay policy. The salary range listed depicts DC locality pay. Salary will be determined upon selection and dependent upon duty location, grade, step, and locality pay of selectee(s). Additional salary information can be found on .

As a CONTENT STRATEGIST, you will:

  • Lead a content creation cycle with analysis (cycle includes audience, goals, structure, and key points).
  • Increase traffic to the site and engagement with content, improve the compatibility of content with search engines, accessibility, and other promotional strategies.
  • Make recommendations to the supervisor and Digital Workstream Manager on ways to increase awareness on high priority web content and trends in online communications.
  • Create taxonomies and metadata frameworks for grouping and tagging content; implement strategies across OFR to drive increased traffic to the website with search engine optimization techniques.

Qualifications

You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized experience for the OR-52 (GS-12 equivalent): You must have one (1) year of specialized experience that has equipped you with the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of the position. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the OR-51 level (GS-11 equivalent) level in the Federal service, public or other private sectors.

Specialized experience for this position includes all of the following:
- Experience crafting comprehensive content plans across digital properties, including keyword research, SEO, content pillar alignment, and persona development; AND
- Strong background in content audits and analysis, including experience with Google Analytics, SEO tools, gap analysis, and making recommendations for improvement; AND
- Experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide, cross-channel, content strategies.



The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or . One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. Rating: Your application will be evaluated in the following areas: Analytical, Communication, and Techical

Category rating will be used to rank and select eligible candidates. If qualified, you will be assigned to one of three quality level categories, A (highest quality category), B (middle quality category), or C (minimally qualified category) depending on your responses to the online questions, regarding your experience, education, and training related to this position. Your rating may be lowered if your responses to the online questions are not supported by the education and/or experience described in your application. Your application may be reviewed by a Subject Matter Expert.
