- Provide front-line support for end-to-end incident resolution related to laboratory instruments.
- Primary contact for incident ticket management - ensuring work orders are created and recorded in the appropriate systems.
- Primary contact to coordinate with customers - keeping them informed of the statuses of the work orders.
- Primary contact to coordinate with vendors - keep keeping customers informed of when third parties will visit to resolve work orders.
- Vendor management, including scheduling, transporting and hosting vendors and engineers while on site.
- Responsible for ensuring records are kept complete within both customer and PerkinElmer systems, including the asset inventory management team systems.
- Provide backup support to the Senior ISC for triage resolution and repair of front-line instruments.
- Provide vacation coverage for the Senior ISC.
- Maintain training and compliance in areas of health and safety, security, environmental and operational aspects of daily activities in the working environment.

Basic qualifications:
- Associate's degree in Applied Science, Biology, and Chemistry, or related discipline, including military experience and 1+ years of experience OR
- High school degree or equivalent with 2+ years of related experience
Preferred qualifications:
- Strong understanding of GLP/GxP and/or experience working in a compliance-driven environment
- Knowledge and understanding of EHS procedures.
- Expertise in HPLC, UPLC, LCMS, simple quad mass specification or FSC
- Experience with analytical equipment and/or laboratory environments
- Working knowledge of SAP and database management
Working environment:
- Must be able to work in a laboratory, in controlled environments requiring personal protective equipment (e.g., lab coat, safety glasses, etc.) in the laboratory.
- The pace of work can be fast, and job completion demands can be high
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position more than 25% of the time
- The person needs to occasionally move between labs, hallways, adjoining rooms, and on-site buildings. Frequently operate on instruments, objects, tools, or controls, which will require regular bending, squatting, stretching, and stretching to perform a service function.
- Occasionally move or lift up to 25 pounds (potential to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds).
- Specific vision skills required by this position include, but are not limited to, the ability to observe close-quarters detail, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus to perform the essential service functions of this position.
- Occasionally operates a computer and other office machinery, such as a calculator, photocopier, and computer printer.
- The employee may be required to handle hazardous waste in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. Tasks may include identifying, handling, generating, accumulating, storing, and labeling hazardous waste.
- Potential risk for laboratory hazards, including but not limited to extreme temperatures, biological materials, and hazardous chemicals.
- Completion of medical clearance, respiratory protection training, and fit testing may be required to use a respirator as protection against animal allergens when animals are present in the laboratory environment.
The annualcompensation range for this full-time position is $58,240.00 to $87,360.00. The final base pay offered to the successful candidate will be determined by factors including internal equity, work location, as well as individual qualifications, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
