Intern, Market Research - Human Health Digital, Data and Analytics (HHDDA)
The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities within the Human Health Digital, Data, and Analytics (HHDDA) team can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.
Our HHDDA team is innovating how we understand our patients and their needs. Working cross functionally we are inventing new ways of communicating, measuring, and interacting with our customers and patients leveraging digital, data and analytics. The Market Research Intern - HHDDA will have the opportunity to work on meaningful assignments and gain real world experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Working closely with senior market researchers, the intern will help to develop and implement all aspects of primary market research including framing critical business questions, identification of information needs, and development of research/analysis to deliver an objective understanding of key customers, competitors, products, and current/future market developments. This position is an excellent opportunity to gain invaluable experience in market research and the business of Oncology or Vaccines. We are seeking 3 intern candidates with strong academic performance, communication skills, teamwork, and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
Understand brand/commercial strategy and break down business questions into specific, tangible hypotheses and requirements to guide analysis
Clearly define business question and/or opportunities and inform choice of appropriate research techniques/methodologies and solutions
Develop working knowledge of relevant research and insights sources, strengths, and weaknesses to inform choices to best answer business questions
Help to develop and execute primary market research to answer relevant business questions.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with multiple extended project team members - such as market research, forecasting, data science, data strategy, data visualization, marketing, clinical team - as needed, to execute project(s)
Integrate insights into a compelling story and effectively communicate to stakeholders to guide business decisions
Location: Rahway, NJ
Education:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a full-time BS/BA or post-graduate program
Candidates must have completed at least (2) years of studies towards a Bachelor's degree by June 2025
Required Experience and Skills:
Candidates must be available to work full-time, on-site, for 10 - 12 weeks beginning June 2025
Proven analytics and problem-solving skills
Effective leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with an ability to process and interpret insights and translate clearly and concisely to broad audiences
Innovative mindset with affinity toward experimentation and appropriate risk-taking
Excellent organizational skills, with ability to work with cross-functional teams and organize/prioritize work efficiently and effectively
Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$39,600.00-$105,500.00

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
