This position will be based in our company's Global Commercial Human Health division where we partner with colleagues from across all geographies and divisions to help serve our patients and customers around the globe. This position is a "hands-on" role working closely with our Data Analytics delivery leads across a variety of data analytics and data science projects.
Day-to-day the role will require writing and integrating code. You will work with data scientists, data engineers, machine learning engineers, business analysts, and data product management professionals to develop our company's data analytics initiatives. You will work on developing cutting edge data pipelines and performing analytics on the numerous data sets we have internally.
We'll look to you to identify required data sources for a given initiative and we'll also lean on you to call out risks with applying different data analysis methods on our product outputs. Some reporting and visualization skills will come in handy too. Experience with common pharmaceutical datasets is a plus. Coursework in data engineering and data science will be a benefit. Experience processing or working with structured and unstructured data is desirable.

Contribute to enhancing the existing standards and practices
Education Minimum Requirements:
B.S., M.S. or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Pharmaceuticals, Healthcare, Data Science, Business, or related field
Required Experience and Skills:
Candidates must be able to commit to full-time onsite (or hybrid if applicable) employment for 10 - 12 weeks beginning June 2025
1-2 years experience or previous coursework with data/analytics engineering
Previous undergraduate Internship experience in cross-functional data teams is preferred
Experience creating / adopting data models to meet requirements from Data Science / Visualization stakeholders
Experience with cloud-based data management platforms and typical storage/compute services
Exposure to modern data stack tools such as Databricks and low-code tools (e.g. Matillion, Dataiku)
Experience in analytics use cases of pharmaceutical products and vaccines
Self-motivation and proactivity are highly desirable
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to communicate appropriately and confidently with colleagues from different backgrounds

Under New York City, Colorado State, Washington State, and California State law, the Company is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the salary range for this job. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate's relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$39,600.00-$105,500.00
